I tried both rebuilds but that didn't fix it, so I guess I need to do the Identity transfer thing. I assume this involves exporting-importing all the old identity data, as opposed to just copying the identity files from one identity folder to another. What is the best procedure for transferring the old identity data to a new one? By "best" I mean (in order from most important to least important) the method that will 1) avoid transferring any damaged or corrupted data, 2) get all the data, 3) be the easiest, and 4) be as close to free as possible. I looked in the archives and the MVP site but couldn't find a good "move the entire corrupted identity to a new one" discussion, but maybe I overlooked it. I did see mention of a Berkowitz script of some sort...would that do the trick? (Yeah I know, it doesn't meet criterion number 4, but I am a vulnerable consumer at the moment.)
