It's not incomplete. It's not a complex HTML designer. It gives you enough
formatting ability so that you can get the basics done. It means that, with
Microsoft Entourage, I never have to worry about someone using it with
network bugs, etc. I'm actually disappointed that I can't kill the Word
features, but cest la vie. If you need very complex formatting, use
something designed for it and send the email as an attachment.

I can tell you that at my company,  we've adopted a policy of summarily
bouncing mail with any <a> links in the email as a security/anti-spam
procedure. We don't reject 'normal' links, i.e. http://www.bynkii.com/
inline. And I can tell you we aren't the only ones. So far, no complaints
from associates or clients, and our spam count has gone waaay down.

Different text engines for one. It's why Microsoft Entourage can do RTL
better than word.
