No. Pretty absurd, isn't it? You can still sort by Sent date, you just don't
see it displayed. Usually you might just see a number of messages all with
the same (Received) time displayed, when you checked for mail on startup,
for example, but they will be sorted correctly. Sometimes it's more
confusing when they appear to be sorted out of order due to a delay in
transmission.

If it really matters to you, you'll have to go back to the old
preview-pane-below view.

What I find more annoying is that the other line always displays the "From"
unless the messages are in an officially designated "Sent Items" folder,
where they will show the "To". But if you have, as I do, some "Sent"
subfolders for particular accounts, all the names displayed there are my
name (the "From") even though they're sent messages. Furthermore, Entourage
actually knows they're sent messages, since for sent messages - including
these - the Sent time is displayed - there _is_ no Received time for sent
messages. I would have thought that Entourage would know enough to display
Sent time for sent messages - but no, only when they're in an official Sent
Items folder (local or IMAP/server).

PLEASE always state which version of Microsoft Office you are using -
**2004**, X or 2001. It's often impossible to answer your questions
otherwise.
