Thanks for your reply Norman. What is strange is that I've never seen this dialog box before.
I previously used Office X on two machines and found that if I had an Office app opened on one machines, I could not start up any Office app on the other. I was familiar with that limitation. For Office 2004, I was given 3 serial nos. from Msoft and used two different ones on the two machines where Office 2004 was installed, months ago. I've never seen that warning, tho I have opened Office 2004 apps on both machines at the same time (and just did again!). Go figure...
