In Preferences/Address Book, perhaps you have:
� Automatically link contacts with messages I send to them
checked. And if the contact is associated with the project, perhaps the sent
message is too. (I assume that you checked that you have no Outgoing Rule
that sets the project or category of sent messages?.) I haven't tested this
yet, just a query.
