Nope, still using the released product (3.2.12 v289). I do not have any "whacky" settings, only Safari bookmarks, which I've just turned off.
Is version 4.0b9 stable enough for prime-time? The only part of this discussion that doesn't make a whole lotta sense is that Entourage seems to be the only affected application. If it was indeed the iTunes indexing other applications be affected as well. Something doesn't add up here. Also, I do not believe my version supports scanning of the Entourage address book.
