Hi Jenny,
I've been meaning to ask you, Do you know if there are any deer in any of the
big parks in any of the 5 boroughs of NYC? I'm very curious. I know you have
big birds such as hawks in Manhattan, so I'm wondering about deer in any of
your parks.
Also, there are a couple of books about NYC that I'm curious if you have seen,
or if you have read them. For example,
"New York City Trees", by Edward Sibley Barnard, and published by The City of
New York, Department of Parks and Recreation.
The other book is "Wild New York, A Guide to the Wildlife, Wild Places, and
Natural Phenomena of New York City", by Margaret Mittelbach & Michael Crewdson.
I own both of these books and enjoy them. I'm wondering if you own them too, or
if you've seen them before.
