I have to second this statement. I also have 4
LowePro bags plus a compact Jenova bag (an Italian
company I think). Equipment growth is one reason I
have so many, versatility is the other. I choose the
appropriate bag, depending on how much equipment I'm
taking and where I'm going.

The comment about the spaciousness (or lack thereof)
is also true of my Compact AW and Mini Mag AW. I
think it has to do with the thickness of the padding.
They are VERY well made with thick, dense padding and
provide a great protection, but the downsides are less
interior space and the weight. Pick up one of these
things empty and it feels like it has a body and a
lens or two already inside!

LowePro also make a GREAT accessory for shoulder bags
- the backpack harness. It converts your shoulder bag
into a "pseudo" backpack for easier carrying. It's
not as good as a dedicated backpack style, but
provides more versatility. It only fits models with
removeable straps though, so count out the Nova series
etc if you want to use this setup.

Seriously though, the LowePro range has something for
everyone. If possible take all your gear to a shop
and try it out for size. But as mentioned, think
about future expansion of your system - even though it
may be a remote possibility at this stage, because
they last for ages. My oldest LowePro is well into
it's second decade and still sees regular use.
