That's true. It *is* a pain to get them out and I'm grateful I hadn't to
do this "on the road" yet. Some time I'll finally buy a second battery
holder. At home, when charging, I'll live with the pain. When charging the
whole pack, especially when discharging it completely, you risk destroying
the weakest cell. Ok, an intelligent charger should be able to avoid this,
but I prefer to do it for each cell seperately.

Agreed, it's a rip off.

Yes, but the sealed packs contain 10 cells AFAIK, giving 12V instead of
9.6V with your eight cells in the holder. That *might* cause problems.
