Hi all -

Me again. Heh heh, questions, questions. This morning it's about
remotes. A few questions: I have the RS-60E3 remote switch - not the
wireless - and it's useful, but I wish it were a longer wire. Even
sitting in an auditorium seat shooting an audition with the camera up
on a tripod at standing level it's a bit of a reach, not exactly
inconspicuous when you reach for it. (Although I must say I'm very
pleased with how quiet the shutter is on my 7) Has anyone found a way
to extend it? I'm imagining it's just a little circuit breaking
switch, so it shouldn't be too hard to extend?

Re: the RC-1 wireless remote, which I don't have. What is its angle
of effectiveness? IOW, how far off-axis from the sensor can you be
for it to work? Can you be behind the camera?

Also, has anyone experimented with EOS cameras and electro-optical
shutter trips, like those used to photograph birds and bullets
breaking lightbulbs?

Thanks as always

Ken
