I only bought it for EOS-compatibility, and web-pictures, or quick
ones by email....don't want to mess with a clunky Nikon interface of
course....:))
Besides, I considered that *when* buying an 1n, this would be the
only rational reason to do so, other than the 1n-RS (though I wonder
why they didn't offer that one as DCS-1/3/5 too....if only to get rid
of that mirror sound....wouldn't have added much to the US$17k
either....:))
(might have to do with the more integrated construction of
body&motordrive, preventing the digi-back/grip)
I am now considering one of these SCF-upgrades at Canon-service, to
delay mirror-rebound until you lift your finger from the
release-button....:))

(actually, it is interesting to note that one can remove the entire
Kodak-unit from the EOS-1n body, sans 2 multi wires, right and
left (this is even described in the user manual, to clean the
CCD-sensor)....this means that even *when* ever find a DCS-1 or 5 for
more resolution (but also less ASA/ISO!!), I could simply replace my
SCF-modified 1n to the other Kodak unit....:))

Crap sites, every new incompatibility makes me more convinced that I
will stick to Notepad-created pages forever.

Gotta pay for that, the freeware/banner version is not available for
W3.1 I believe.
If Pegasus existed for Linux, I would have joined the non-Microsoft
community already....:))

[CC to EOS list (for the EOS-topics only of course!....;))....]
