Thanks for advice/"encouragement". :) Saturday I bought a punch of AA lithiums and yes, the voltage seemed to be 1.5V. I took further risk and put them in my 1N and they are working fine, so far. I will now use them regularly to see further if they perform alright... Yesterday I was shooting outdoors and no problems occurred, whatsoever. I think alkalines would have refused to cope in winter conditions as good as.
