I'm a little afraid of using the micro-drive cards because I have dropped my CompactFlash cards once or twice. That was an annoyance but doing the same thing with a micro-drive could be a disaster.

He said he took the microdrive out of the camera, and then walked up a couple of stories to where the computer was to load it into a reader. I asked, "as opposed to what?" to which he replied, "taking the camera to the computer and pulling the microdrive right there. " So he thinks possibly static from carpets or something may have caused the microdrive to crash, but really isn't sure.
