Gentleman,

Just got my Sekonic L-358. Very nice.

First thing I did was compare it to my Elans II Metering.

Elan setup to partial (9.5%) metering, using a Kodak gray card.

Difference between the L-358 and the Elan II: between 1.5 and 2 stops.

Check the compensation on the Sekonic and it was set to zero.

I just wonder why is this difference. Maybe the L-358 came way off the
right calibration.

Tomorrow Ill go to the studio and compare it with the Minolta IV that
we have there.

In the mean time, if anyone have comments or hints, Id appreciate.

Oh, by the way, the last rool of chrome that I shot using the cameras
meter was 5 or 6 month ago. Fuji Provia. And it looks ok, no major under
or over exposure.

Regards.

Nelson
