Is anyone else reading June 2003 National Geographic? I really like the artistic touch of photos on pp 32-51. The mood, composition and lighting are wonderful. However, I do notice there seems to be quite a fair bit of digital artefact on these images (especially double page spread 46-47). Other images look like they have some vertical banding. Would anyone have any idea what image size / camera would produce such images?
