This is just to thank everyone for their replies to my recent question 
about the EOS 10D, Microdrives, and archiving files while travelling. I 
bought a 10D, and went with a solid-state CF card (512MB), rather than a 
Microdrive, as everyone recommended. I'll think about the archiving later 
(and might just buy more CF cards, as someone recommended). So far, I'm 
having great fun with the 10d and the CF card is working out really well.
