My EOS 20D already does that (orientation data, not GPS).


How exactly?
(any online text, perhaps even fancy Canon nomenclatura/abbreviation?....:))

Adobe Pshop elements 3 shows this in the exif data:

Orientation: Rotate -90

And it is smart enough to show the picture in the
correct orientation using that. The manual for the 20D
does say that the orientation sensor isn't reliable for
pointing up or down. It will do + or - 90 - I haven't
tried 180 :-)
