Hi All: I am in the same situation as the person who originated this tread. That is, I have been using film cameras for years. My latest are an Elan IIe and 7e, and an assortment of lenes to go with them - from extreme wide angle to 300mm.. Recently, I acquired a Rebel IXi and love it.
But, I have been thinking about the differences. To me, one of the fundamental differences is how to care for it. Lenes and film are easy. Digital seems to introduce a whole new concern about care for equipment. Should I treat it as disposable? (my wife would not like that!) Do I clean the sensor, which seems to me the weakest link in the system? How? (I do not want to spend hours removing dust at the the computer.) What about humidity and temperature changes? All this is new, and I would be grateful for shortcuts and tips you can provide. Thanks much, William * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
