My new computer is Win 7 64 bit. I don't know anything about an update to the licence manager, I just installed Ver 10.1.c from the original CD, and used the Setup Key # that was on the CD. Have only used it a few times, but have had no problems with reading the disk, or anything else.
I would certainly opt for the 64 bit version of Windows. There is more and more software now available to use the 64 bit capabilities. Harry
