These new rules just let some guy at the TSA who just does not like any
one
of us, turn in our name as a suspected terrorist and the FAA then, with no
hearing or chance to have your side of the situation heard, suspends all
of
your airman's certificates. Then if the TSA decides that you are a
terrorist, they do not have to have any reason or proof, the FAA will
revoke all of your airman's certificates. If you are a terrorist why would
you care, if you are a fine law abiding citizen you will go through a
process similar to what Bob Hoover went through because some dumb FAA guy
did not like him. This is just the kind of rule we need. We all got mad
when they closed the airports and we could not fly, now they will soon
have
a tool that will let them stop any one of us just because some TSA guy
does
not like us or worse yet they think we can help them and we do not want to
do something that is clearly wrong that they want us to do, like asking a
A&P to install a tracking device in someone's aircraft with out telling
them never mind what the weight and balance change might be.
This is about our freedom to fly and we should all take a stand now or we
may all be on the ground permanently

I think the point is that there is no other country in the world where a
person can easily get flight training, especially if they're a "furiner."
