I use the 295...I recommend you look at something else, like Garmin's 196, or even other brands which have terrain and obstacle information. The 295 is a nice unit, but: -it is not suitable for road use, because it does not give turn-by-turn directions. Investigate the 196 if you want to use the same unit for plane and car. -color is nice, I wish it had a little bigger screen, that I could change the orientation (it is fixed at horizontal only), and a higher resolution, with faster screen updates (I usually turn off road detail because it takes too long for the screen to update). -if the airport you want to go to is within range of the Nearest button, it's pretty easy to go direct, otherwise you have to rather laboriously punch in the airport ID. > Hey I'm glad GPS came up.
