Hi everyone,
Is there a legal or insurance downside of co-ownership (2 people)? I
want to make sure the other party isn't responsible for a blunder I
may make, causing them a financial fiasco (or vice versa).
I plan on having liability insurance for sure and possibly something
to cover hangar rash.
Any advice is appreciated.

When I have been involved in co-ownership aircraft, it was always set-up
as a non-profit corporation. Check with an attorney before you make any
decisions, as laws have a way of changing over time and among states.
