Hi Darrick, an insurance policy on aircraft it's a completely different animal than our usual auto coverage.You will have named pilots/ owners of the craft.And you will have to list total time and time in your plane.Beyond that you will have Liability coverage and/or hull or both.the key, or one of the keys is, that certain Insurers want the named pilots checked out a certain number of hours which is determined by them up front.If everything checks OK You and your partner will be covered equally no matter who has an incident >Get as much liability as you can . As far as Hull, determine what your plane is worth insure accordingly.I'm not a Lawyer see an Aircraft Ins Broker for further details dennis 99564
