I have to protest that an apparent lack of civility on our Ercoupe lists necessitates a new list. Much as I find the concept agreeable, I start my day with email and it gobbles time, and a lot of it goes to Ercoupe stuff. Much as I would like to, I don't know if I could manage another group. I'm self employed, and when coping with email nails nearly 1/2 of my morning - perhaps this shows bad self discipline, as if I were a straight-ahead worker, I'd set aside the 'Coupe stuff for later, but I kind of go linear and, of course my "passion" comes into play and my boss is really easy going...
Anyway, I beseech one and all to make peace. Yes, I've been jumped, too, and did NOT like it. WE have some hot spurs among us as well as more poetic types like Susan and Spook. It seems the group has a large core with significant input from opposite edges - egads, a sociological bell curve! - and if we could just achieve some meeting of the minds, maybe we could carry on without having to develop a (some?) splinter group(s). Pax?? Please????
