Bob, Check with your states DOT. I had a friend here in Wisconsin who put a strip on his property a number of years ago and they had a list of requirement that he had to comply with, including minimum length. I don't know if your state has such requirements, but it would be wise to check. It's also a good idea to check with all of your neighbors to make sure none of them have any objections.
