I'm a complete novice when it comes to mechanical things so I don't know if this is even relevant to all of the trim tab discussion, but I have a D model 85 hp Ercoupe and it has a control panel vernier control for the trim tab. Had to repair the cable that had a kink in it.

I also wonder as I fly along, just what has 65 years of tension on that spring done to it, reckon it needs a new one? --- In [email protected] <mailto:ercoupe-tech%40yahoogroups.com> , Percy Wood <pwood94...@...> wrote: > > Dear Bill, Ed, John, et al. > Found the discussion most useful.
