Are you sure that you have the 8139too module?
Does ec_8139too.ko exist?
The result of ls -l on that file is this:-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 36153 Jul 15 08:50 /lib/modules/2.6.16.21-0.25-smp/ethercat/devices/ec_8139too.ko
