Please have a look... Supported are Realtec (preferred) and Intel chipsets.

I went to Yast -> Network Devices -> Network Card and saw this:

Name                    IP Address

-----------------------------------

Realtek RTL-8029(AS)        DHCP

D-Link DE-528            Not configured

The Realtek one is the one that the ethernet cable is plugged in to.  It's a PCI card.  I think the D-Link is the one on the motherboard.

Linux has no trouble with the Realtek.  I can browse the web with it.

The card is old.  Could that be it?  Otherwise, any other thoughts on this error?

Thanks again,

Jeff
