Hi everybody,

Here are two mails I sent yesterday quoted; the last mail is my reply to comments made by Nicolas . There is a summary for "New project name" list poll in the last quoted mail (I hope I haven't misinterpreted your feedback/opinion).
I'm going to ask for new Resonance project on GNA…

Any comments ? (Banlu ?)

Thanks all,
Quentin.

Hi Banlu, Nicolas

Taking in account various feedback we got on etoile-dev…
I'm going to ask for new Resonance project on GNA this evening in order
we move forward a bit faster I hope :-)
Do you have special comments ?

May be it is possible to ask GNA people to change étoilé project name
to resonance… I don't know.
… but anyway it is probably better/simpler to start with a new project,
however people will need to subscribe to new mailing lists because
etoile-XXX lists are going to be deprecated.

Thanks,
Quentin.

Weren't we supposed to discuss that on etoile-dev ? I'm not too fond
of pushing Resonance without a proper discussion.

Uli, Yen-Ju and Alex P. have given their opinion on the subject by
replying to my last mail on etoile-dev for this topic, but no other
people have replied, then I think if Banlu, you and me are ok with this name we should take a decision now (because discussion could be endless).
And no other proposals have been sufficiently approved.

Well Yen-Ju and Stefan have both said they prefer Étoilé, but I don't
think it's the right choice for various reasons we talked about.

"List poll" :

- Étoilé
Yen-Ju
Stefan

- Resonance
Frederico
Banlu
Nicolas
Quentin
Alex

- No opinion
Uli

I'm open to other proposals… :-) but I would like a quick decision now

No, it's ok -- I'd just like you send this mail to etoile-dev before
doing the move :-)
just what you did : a sumary of the "polls" and saying you'll register
Resonance tomorrow.
I mean, it's imho the right way to do it.
