Actually, oniguruma IS available from ports (/usr/ports/devel/
oniguruma/), but out-dated, and you better stick to ports and not
install a newer version by hand. OTOH, lucene isn't available from
ports, as far as I can tell.
I believe the version in ports is a major revision out of date, and
not compatible with OgreKit (or, at least, it wasn't when I tried a
couple of months ago).
