Hello Eric,
I personnaly think that this web site needs improvment :
when I began to be interested about etoile (because of the smalltalk
compiler)
I connected to it and even did not realize that the first panel "etoile
0.4.0"
was an hyper-link to the main page (or something like that).

Yes, and maybe I will then understand myself.
I do not understand the hard-link between a new desktop and something so
important for me :
a smalltalk compiler which could be terrific for a lot of other things
in a lot of other environments.

Yes, at first I did not see this very little menu hidden in the right panel.
And (you know that, now ;-) language-kit is for me central.

Last week-end I downloaded and compiled gnustep and etoile on my linux
machine successfully.
Next week-end I will try to have a look on what you did for Smalltalk.
By the way : what would be a good environment to develop, compile and
debug ? Eclipse ?

And also, is there something who will prevent to use smalltalk or Io
under cygwin, in the future ?

Regards
