Hi Eric, thanks for the reply!

I guess you're all beavering away at the underlying frameworks and suchlike. Is producing a desktop system (as opposed to an application development system) still a primary aim and is there a timeline/roadmap? If I were a more competent programmer I'd love to help out, even if it's just with porting some of my favourite OSX apps (TeXShop and Theremin, to name two) to GNUstep. Perhaps I'll find the time one day... > > What I would suggest is: > - try deleting your ~/GNUstep directory, to clear any extensions enabled by > Etoile's setup.sh script, and see if the graphical problem still occurs in > GNUstep applications like SystemPreferences, GWorkspace, etc. > - try installing GNUstep from subversion. The menubar and AZDock run quite nicely if I start them under WindowMaker on my system (though there are definitely stability issues in general with GNUstep apps), so I suspect there's some problem with Azalea just now? Or at least with my installation of it. I'll try deleting things out of ~/GNUstep (though I don't want to delete all my WindowMaker settings!) > Cheers, > Eric Thanks a lot, Matt _______________________________________________ Etoile-dev mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/etoile-dev
