Ah, ok - are there some instructions on how to do the things the script does, 
like create the relevant .desktop files and suchlike? Or is how to do that 
considered 'obvious' for people who are fiddling with experimental desktops?

What's the plan here? Does Etoile itself not need a custom window manager? Do 
you have a favourite to use in its place? As I said, I'm using windowmaker-crm, 
and there don't seem to be any problems. But I have no comprehension of the way 
these things interoperate...
