Not yet. But for the fun, I would be tempted to experiment with an
hybrid Objective-C framework handling both 2D and 3D curves,

Not sure it's really doable or worth the pain (or interesting since
we have stuff like Glitz for rendering 2D stuff with 3D backend).

This looks interesting and I would love to help, but I miss both the
necessary time and knowledge.

What's the state of Maliwan right now? Is the last redesign finished
(the one discussed one year ago on your blog iirc)?
Still in the design state, I'm trying to focus on distributed/thread
processing for now..
eg. Nodes shouldn't get locked by some task. If there are free CPUs they should
be used transparently to users.
Maliwan and this 3D thing won't be farther than their designs.
One day when any of you are free and ready to discuss about them,
please notice me.
For the implementation part, I'm working on the calendar app.
Currently writing a gui
framework that provide toolkit for clock/calendar and alarming system.
I hope to release
a usable calendar by the new year.
