I actually have no real preference of menu-style, even though the
current EtoileMenus style suits me just fine. If you want to change it,
I have nothing against it - I think that just about any paradigm works
reasonably well and that the decision of which one is the "perfect" or
"best" is just a matter of personal taste. I'm just a bit concerned
about the fact that we don't even have a decent file manager and we
worry about the looks of the menus :-)

Regarding file manager, I use command line mostly,
therefore, I care it less.
I do also agree with you that a file manager is important.
Actually I look around some options to see whether I can port
a small and usable one instead of writing from scratch.
The conclusion I have so far is that if I need to write one,
I will make a recycler as an application and desktop as another.
Then the file manager part would be simple and small.
Recycler needs to conform freedesktop protocol,
which I haven't fully understood.
Desktop has to manage the icon on the desktop and the background.
Actually it is a reason that I start to play with AZBackground.
iDesk (http://idesk.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page)
is something close to what I have in mind.
Then I can probably move the main menu from Azalea to it.
It is just some ideas in my mind,
and hopefully it will work out piece by piece,
but not in a near future, though.
AZDock gives me enough troubles already. :D
