Your set of icons is wonderful.
I want it to be the default icons set.
To share theme, you can fork the theme from github putting the icons
in this path with the correct names:
Resources/ThemeImages,
or if you want, you can make a zip archive with all your icons and
send it to me, then I’ll do the necessary work. I’ll mention you as
the author of the icons;
Well I'm not the author : they come from DevianArt. Look for the archive
500__mountain_lion_icons__ico__by_mrwhiteeye on it ; by the way it's
not Maverick but Mountain Lion.
I think it's a rip off the apple original icons. I took them, resized
them to 48x48 and renamed them for convenience. So there should be some
copyright issue.
But if you want, I can send them to you privately.

5) In my free time I work on the implementation of a new and modern
GNUstep theme, with a look and feel similar to OS X. The main goal
of this little project is to stop people that are saying that
GNUstep looks old so it is an ancient environment and it’s
bad/useless/crappy/dead because it hasn’t “eye-candy” and can’t be
modern. This is wrong, because what they mean for “eye-candy” is
just a theme, and GNUstep is themable. Look on the étoilé site to
see its themes that are a great look&feel.
I've adopted your rik.theme for a year now. I replaced your icons
with real Maverick icons for folders and introduced a
common_LibraryFolder.png icon.
I wanted to replace GWorkspace's and Recycler 's icons too, but I
didn't find where to look in the code (I'm not a real programmer). So
I've replaced them directly in the FSNode.Framework from GWorkspace.
I didn't know how to replace gnustep's stock icons for common
filetypes so I replaced directly them in the resources folder of some
gnustep apps. I've also created several app-wrappers for my most used
applications, with filetype's icons included.
This way, I've got a desktop with modern mac icons and your theme.
And it works quite well.
But I never succeeded into building gnustep with clang, libobjc2 and
arc on my ppc debian wheezie. So I'm stuck with an older version of
your theme, and I can't build Etoilé.
For the libobjc2 ppc support, you should ask to David to know what is
the status.
You can get three desktop screen shots here :

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByTXBlsAnzKtRzNtMFhERmUxVXM/view?usp=sharing
I can share theses icons with anyone who wants.
I'd like to know if there is a cleaner way to achieve this directly
in your theme.
If you can write objective-c code, you are welcome to contribute on
the theme completion.
For example the tabbed view needs to be finished, it is looking quite
bas especially the tabs.
look at the previous link I posted to see how muck the tabs are
looking bad.
Best regards,
Bertrand

Thanks for the icons, I’m waiting to put them in the theme as default
icons.
Regards,
Alex.
