At least RealPlayer is cross-platform, and doesn't force anyone to use a particular operating system in order to see content, as is the case with WMP. The clause that I mentioned earlier would not have forbidden providing documents in Word (or RealPlayer, or whatever) format; it would have simply required that they be available in at least one open-standard format.
