OK, I notice, when I click on the "install Add-on" button, an info bar
shows up saying "software installation is disabled. Click Edit Options
to enable it and try again."
There doesn't seem to be any reference to software installation when I
"Click Edit Options." Under Options/Content, there's an option to "warn
me when websites try to install extensions or themes," which is unchecked.
But checked or unchecked, I still can't install add-ons. Even when I
check it and add the mozilla address as an allowed exception, the add-on
still won't install.
Wha?
