I am getting the message about which hardware to buy for Linux
migration. First I am going to get a continuous inking system for my
canon and limp along for a while. I want to get back to developing my
comic book for engineering education. There's a lot of buzz about using
gaming to educate and the comic book is the first step for me. I am
going to get one of those color laserjet HP's when I scrape together the
money.

Get an HP or Epson.

I have a Canon laying around here somewhere. It has always been
a pain under linux. I bought one of those cheap little HP PSC
units and it works well.

I see that Ubuntu 6.10 finds my Canon Pixma i3000 as a i4000,
but prints
a workable test page. For now I am going to use it. Anyone
here if
that was a bad thing, as in hard on the hardware?
