Testing the live distro at "brick and mortar" stores sounds like a
good idea, although it doesn't seem that practical on Black Friday at
5:30 a.m. at Best Buy, but then again, that's what refunds and
receipts are for.
- IMHO knoppix sounds like a good live distro test too.
Knoppix *used* to be the best. Unfortunately, I have not seen a release
since Jan2007 (V. 5.1.1). Almost two years ago.
In case you are wondering about DSL, their FAQ still says they are on
kernel 2.2 (though I haven't checked a download for a while).
