Absolutely, so long as the bigger one is also usable, in terms of its size.
We'll see if folks start selling their SUV's to upgrade to bicycles... I
doubt it.  Everything in its place.  I thought it was cool when I first had
a 8-bit device which fit in my pocket.  Better yet, wireless and a
filesystem!  Well be sure to check out Intel's "new" touchscreen educational
model, looks like they're finally going public with a OLPC-killer-attempt.
For many folks who ask me how to upgrade their old towering PC, I indeed
suggest a cheap laptop (not netbook), since it can be slid away on the shelf
but will not actually be carried along much.... that is a great sector for
cheap laptops:  lower-power, compact components, and prolly not-so-great
battery life :)
