Thanks Lorraine! I just want to echo and reinforce the authenticity
she brings to her mission.
She also acts as one of LCC's volunteer CIT (Compsci/InfoTech)
department advisors,
and LCC is another community entity which would love to do more with Linux.

So by all means, LuciferLinux, give them more reason & empowerment.
We are the local LUG.
If you wish to find fault for the use of Microsoft products, please
consider this carefully.

I am not very informed about the specific differences between NextStep
& FreeGeek,
but more-so now. Thanks to both of you!

>From my perspective, what we're lacking is a project manager
(cat-herder) within the
LUG who wants to spend lots of time rallying, organizing, and
planning. This is a bear
of a job, IMO, and it's not for me. I don't envy it... but I do miss
the occasional Saturday
Linux presentation.

Lorraine, I feel for your insurance situation, and I suppose you
already know it well, but I
suspect that being able to offer a LUG meeting space, as well as
possibly a hardware
locker and LAN/WAN, would go a long way to foster growing projects,
classes, etc :)

ttfn,

BenB
