That's probably true, but trying to get millions of people to contribute any
amount to anything requires a very good "gimmick." The cathedrals in Europe
were built from the contributions of peasants who thought they were buying
their way into heaven, the March of Dimes--get it? Sounds like we need a
better marketing approach. Hmmm. Maybe the first example was a key: "Ten
bucks buys your way into the heavens!"
