Thank you John for your response. I will check the links you've metioned.
The thing I like in the starter/auto battery is the cost. I can get a
surplus starter motor for 15$ and a battery at arround 20 or less. Now about
your question on the type of scooter, I dont know yet. I am thinking of
something with a seat so it is not the 'plank' board one.
