Correction, they haven't asked 'us' for money (yet). Right now they are spending the money they got from their current suck...er I mean sponsors. They conned some folks last year into investing in their "invention" (You know the one their facility runs off), those folks probly demanded some proof that their money was actually being used to develop something so Tilley thinks "Hmm I've always wanted my own Delorean...."
