     Hi EVerybody;

Been there, done that! In the Great Clean Air Car race of 1971. Took
about a week an' a half. Charging driving charging driving on and ON. Was on
one of the teams, Stevens Tech, as a tech support. It sure would be easier,
with todayz hardware,ADV and Warp motors, Rapture controllers, Evercells,
PFC -20's or 50's I DID give thought of drivin' Electric to Woodburn, but I
only had three weaks vacation. Figurred I could do 70-80 miles on a charge,
litefooting italong. Would want to find 240 volt 50 A. outlets along the
way.Like across AZ or NM, bit of country there. Nites would be no problem,
ya plug into the Motel's Coke machine, like I did on TDS. Nice juicy car
EVery morning!

Ya would hafta be DAMN good to do NY-LA in 3 daze, in ANY car! I just
did it, last month, in a longwinded 4 daze, stopping over to rest nites. Not
23 anymore, gotta sleep SOMEtime, of course IF I had somebody to share the
#$%^ driving coulda gone faster. But yu can 't hurry love an' battery
charging, that much. A trip like that would be fun ifya had a prearranged
plug in point. Like we had in CACR, Lavish amounts of 200 amp 240 volt
service provided by power Co's by appointment. If yur ready, I have plenty
of 240 for the plugging on yur way from Bos to LA in Killingworth CT Roughly
in the middle., let me know when yur coming, we'll go rite into the box, by
the meter, less line loss. Outlets will do 50 amps, there rite behind the
green school bus made into a camper, in the yard, ya can't miss that!

Now that would be fun! If there are Listers strung across the USA for EV
touring!! Where is EVerybody? Maybe we could do it! Are there enough of us
to do this? I think I could get stuff set up in New England? Worchester,
Tony Ascrizzis', Mark Hasting's in Stamford, CT, I'm in the middle of them.
Bos NYC? Can ya do 80-100 miles on a charge? Revive the "Electric Car
Expressway" Of Bob Aronsonian fame. Plugging stuff in Holiday Inns along
I-94 Chi to Detroit, 30 years ago. Drove his Mars 2 converted Renault there
a few times, was fun, but yu couldn't be in a hurry!

Yeah, I know, drifting off topic, a bit, but could be fun.

     Seeya?
