I've been planning on using one or more LEAF batteries in my conversion project. In searching salvage yard listings (car-part.com), I'm seeing a lot of Ford Focus EV batteries for similar prices to the LEAF, but they are generally newer batteries.
Has anyone here used cells from a Focus? The built-in water cooling heat exchangers seem like a good feature, and the fact that they are water cooled may mean that the salvaged batteries may be in better shape than the LEAF ones.
