LED TL bulbs that I have seen have a high voltage series connection of LEDs. Either ~24 LEDs in series for about 90VDC of supply and several series strings connected in parallel, Or a single string and a high voltage inverter (special ballast) required. You would need to cut and somehow connect to the traces on the LED PCB in shorter series in order to run directly off 12V. Oh and of course arrange for current control, else you are likely to blow LEDs when you freshly charged your battery. Regards, Cor.

I know you can buy led strips on reels, etc but thats messier. keep it simple, save power, reuse old cells..... _______________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE: http://www.evdl.org/help/index.html#usub http://lists.evdl.org/listinfo.cgi/ev-evdl.org Please discuss EV drag racing at NEDRA (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NEDRA) -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
