MarkH's Bolt EV can charge off j1772 L2 @7.2+kW or DC ccs @54+kw. But public
EVSE usually has a 208VAC source so L2 is (208Vc*32A=) ~6.6kW, and DC drops
down to ~44kW.
Note: the term Destination charger will have EV'rs think you
seek a Tesla hpwc EVSE which has an incompatible connector with your Bolt
EV. While there are adapters you can buy to use a Tesla hpwc EVSE to convert
to j1772 port use

mixing that term (Destination) with j1772 can cause confusion.
Most likely evdl members knew you wanted to know how to find lodging that
has or is-near L2 j1772 EVSE.
plugshare.com has changed over the years.
Searching inside/within plugshare.com
For example, today when you use plugshare, 1st you should change the
EVSE-connector-types search filter to unclick (_) the types your Bolt
doesn't use and click (X) the ones it does. Then, enter in plugshare's
search box the location (i.e.: columbia md ). Today's plugshare web version
doesn't easily let you search for hotels, motels, etc. directly as it did in
the past.
But using a search engine (google) outsde plugshare, finds plugshare
listings using a search word (hotel, motel, etc.)

Paul's posted method relies on Google maps to be accurate/kept up to date
(like plugshare is). That is a falsely, as like other so-called sources of
EV-charging sites, (see below) they pay to use the .us .gov 's database
which always (repeat, always) woefully fraught with errors and omissions.
Whereas, plugshare is like opensource, being kept up to date by EV drivers'
input.
There is nothing wrong with using the other methods, 'if' you don't mind
showing up needind a charge with no working or compatible EVSE available
(you are stuck/hosed).
IMO, either as planning before a long trip, or when killing time while
public charging: do your searching using plugshare.com 1st, and then if you
feel adventurous (willing to take a risk), also search using the other EVSE
search methods (below).
Also, if you find an EVSE that is not on plugshare.com , it easy to add it
(another nice plugshare member feature).
