Best Western is probably the most EV friendly hotel chain right now. Most of
them have Level-2 charging (check the individual hotel website to be sure)

Marriott has a webpage that lists some of their hotels that have EV charging.
It's not very user friendly (not sorted by state) and it contains errors, and
doesn't seem to be updated very often, but at least they have made an effort.

As others have mentioned, I've had good luck being allowed to plug into
external outlets (away ask first) and on one occassion I asked for a ground
floor room and ran an extension cord out the window.

If you are going to use 120V outlets, I recommend bringing an extention cord
and a roll of duct tape to tape down the cord if it crosses a sidewalk to
reduce the trip hazard. Pick a bright color roll of tape, or better yet a
bright and a dark roll and use whichever is more visible at night at that
location.

Final note, sometimes hotels don't have EV charging, but there might be a mall,
etc. nearby that does.
